Destination Summary

Patara

Patara is the best big air destination for Turkey. It is one of those longest beaches of Turkey, near the ancient cities of Patara, Xanthos, and Letoon. This means that if it is not wind you can visit these spectacular cities. In summers winds blows from sea (on shore-cross on shore) when the forecast says 16 to 20 with the help of thermal winds wind blows about +30 knots. It is long sandy beach with kickers rolling to shore and a flat river spot separated with a sand dune. If you are big air kiter and visiting Turkey , you must visit this spots. Very isolated from the crowd.
