In general it's an amazing spot, and great for big air especially in winter storms. The majority of the big air sessions happen of the seafront, when big low pressure systems come from the south, this wind direction hits exmouth perfectly onshore avoiding any land, the great thing about exmouth is on these days when the tides out, there is a big sand bar which protects a strip around 300m in width, this makes it absolutely perfect for flat water big air and kiteloops, as it can be 50 knots and still really flat. You can also get great kickers on the seafront when the wind is either south west, west or south easterly, the majority of these kickers break outside of the sandbar, on these directions it can be epic for big jumps and mega loops. The duckpond is great for big air in the winter months, when the winds either north or north west, it can get mega windy with the wind blowing straight down the river this often adds to the strength and what it's forecasted often. The duckpond has some of the best flat water in the UK. In general it's a pretty epic place to ride and do big air on its day, one downside is when the wind has any west in it , it will tend to be lighter than forecasted and often Gusty.
