Cuesta del Viento as its name says its all about wind, sourrounded by mountains in a sort of valley in San Juan, a tiny town full of magic awaits for thousands of wind addicts that visit the place in search of addrenaline, wind starts up mid morning and powers up progessivle, it can reach more than 50knots when "la claudia" arrives, la claudia as the locals named it is a cloud that stays up huging the mountain, this indicates that things are going to get radddd, anyways you have strong winds every day, cuesta del viento is the house of the "Kitefest Argentina" an international kite contest that brings many of the best riders of the world to this extreme place. traditional food, fresh vegetables you can pick from the farms, really warm local people, incredible landscapes, couple of bars and the most important thing, lots of wind and amazing experiences.
