Brighton is a big air hot spot in the UK!
9m or smaller are the usual kite sizes used for big air at these spots with a good, solid south-westerlies almost every or every other week. We can get really high gusts and full-on storm winds which are perfect for big air and although it can be quite choppy, it's never too hard to find some fantastic kickers to launch off! Flatwater isn't common but you can score some during low tide.
These locations are on the south coast of England where we have a prevalent southwesterly all year round with thermals in the summer bringing good, regular 9m weather. For the most extreme wind, sometimes gusting up to 50 knots or more, visit us in the winter months. It's cold and brutal but you will go BIG and have a lot of fun!
We have pro UK riders based at these spots so you can always see some sick moves being pulled off and the friendly kite community is generally of a high standard with mega loops going off all over the place!
Even though I have to travel for a while to get to them, these are the only spots for me as they are relaxed, friendly and you get consistent big air weather! Yer!!
